We are located in Crystal River, a popular yet cozy town on the west coast of Florida. Crystal River is located in Citrus county which is about 90 minutes north of Tampa, and about 90 minutes west of Orlando.
Crystal River is situated on a beautiful body of water named Kings Bay. Kings Bay is a fresh body of water which flows from several natural freshwater springs and flows out to the Gulf of Mexico.
Crystal River is well known for manatees that migrate here during the winter. About 250 manatees come here every winter season looking for warm water. Kings Bay has a water temperature that evens out to 72 degrees fahrenheit all year long. Sport divers from the US and all over the World as well come to visit our springs which are well worth the travel. There are two major diving areas in Kings Bay.
Kings Bay connects to the Crystal River which is seven miles long opening out to the Gulf of Mexico. Citrus county offers several types of charter boats for fishing in the river or the gulf.
Homosassa Spings State Park is 6 miles South.
